Meet Dr. Cometti
Peyton Cometti, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Education
Dr. Cometti is a highly experienced orthodontist with a passion for providing his patients with compassionate care and excellence. He attended Texas Tech University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biochemistry. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, he practiced general dentistry for one year while his wife, Casey, finished dental school. He then completed his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Cometti has years of experience in orthodontic treatment and is dedicated to staying up to date on the latest advances in the field.
Professional Experience
Dr. Cometti began his career in orthodontics at a private practice in Lubbock, Texas. During his 2-½ years in practice there, he found his greatest reward in traveling to a satellite location in a community about the size of Gillette. Enjoying the connection and impact he was able to have, he and Casey began praying for an opportunity to find a practice in a similar-sized community to make their own. Feeling that God was clearly opening the door, Dr. Cometti and his family moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where he practiced for two years as part of Meyer and Dana Orthodontics. Realizing that they had found the place they wanted to put down their roots and continue to invest in, Dr. Cometti purchased the Wyoming portion of Meyer and Dana Orthodontics and is excited to put his name on the practice, as Cometti Orthodontics comes to life.
Dr. Cometti is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is an active member in many professional organizations, such as the American Association of Orthodontists, Wyoming Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Wyoming Dental Association, and Powder River Dental Association. He has a passion for early-stage orthodontic treatment and helping patients of all ages get the smile they deserve and improve their overall health and wellbeing.
Outside the Office
Dr. Cometti is a family man who loves spending time with his wife, Casey, and their four children. When he's not in the office, he enjoys playing sports and being outdoors. His family loves outdoor adventures and can be found exploring the mountains and other beautiful areas of Wyoming most weekends. Dr. Cometti is active in his church, helping with the high school youth group. He is also passionate about supporting many of our local businesses and ministries and is always looking for new opportunities to invest in the people of our community.
